Dr Charles Omosigho has over three decades of experience in Medical Practice.
He is a well travelled Physician who received his Family Medicine training in West Yorkshire Deanery, North of England, United Kingdom. His initial Specialist Training was as General Paediatrician. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health of the United Kingdom and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
He is a compassionate, empathetic, gentle, kind and cheerful Physician who strongly supports and advocates on behalf of his patients in navigating the challenges of daily Family Medical Practice.
Dr Charles Omosigho has many years of Administrative Experience in Medicine having served on the Board of the Saskatchewan Medical Association and as President of the Former Regional Medical Association of SunCountry Regional Health Authority.
He is currently a Board member of the Saskatchewan College of Family Physicians and also serves as a Physician Member of the Weyburn Mental Health Review Panel on the approval and appointment of the Honourable Minister of Health of Saskatchewan.
He serves as a Physician Assessor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewanon on the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment (SIPPA) Program and He is also a Physician Examiner for the Medical Council of Canada Licensing Examinations.
Dr. Omosigho is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine of the University of Saskatchewan.
His Family Practice Areas of Interest are in Care of the Elderly, Child Health and Women’s Health.
