Ultrasound or sonography is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within your body. No ionizing radiation (X-ray) is involved in ultrasound and the procedure is a non-invasive way of examining many of the internal organs, including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, urinary bladder, uterus and ovaries.
In partnership with the Radiology Associate of Regina (RAR), you can get your Ultrasound done in the clinic. Our Ultrasound department, which is managed by the Radiology Associate of Regina is open 5 days a week, Monday till Friday from 8am – 5pm. You will first need a referral from a physician for us to book an ultrasound imaging appointment for you.
